Westfield Bridge is in fair condition and carries Public Right of Way EEA41 over the canal.
The adjacent Westfield (John Robinson) Lock was completely infilled when the bridge photos were taken. Since then, excavation of the infilled lock has started - see the Westfield Lock page for more.
Walkers
This is where the canal becomes completely lost to infilling, and beyond this point there is no public right of way along the old canal line. If travelling in an easterly direction, there will be a need to backtrack to Pike Bridge and follow the Thames and Severn Way diversion to re-join the canal at the A38.
Once the Cotswold Canals Connected restoration programme has been completed in 2029 this diversion will no longer be required.
