This lock has been partly restored previously by the Cotswold Canals Trust. As part of the Phase 1b restoration programme the lock will be fully restored.
Dock Lock is the second in the Eastington flight of five when heading towards Stroud.
When the canal was first opened the lock was known as Court Orchard, but has since been renamed.
The lining of the chamber was originally in hand-made dark red brick which is capped by a stone coping.
