Cotswold Canals in Pictures

Daneway Basin & Wharf

Former basin, accessed from the enlarged pound between the two top locks of the western flight up to the summit level.

The basin was accessed through a narrow gap spanned by a footbridge, but there was also wharfage along the offside of the canal itself.

The site is now part of a private garden belonging to Wharf Cottage.
