The site of Hyde's Bridge and the original line of the canal here lies under the link road between the M5 motorway and the A38.
Hyde's Bridge used to carry Public Right of Way EWH17 over the canal.
When the canal is reinstated as part of the Phase 1B restoration scheme, the canal route will be further south, and will not include a new bridge to carry the footpath over the canal. Instead it will be diverted to cross the canal at the A38 roundabout.
