There is no evidence of a canal here at all, as it is infilled on both sides of the bridge site. The infilled section of canal between here and Blue House has previously been used as a local authority waste tip.
The line of trees just visible on the left side of the third photo (and on the other side of the Minety Road), is where the canal re-appears.
