Double Lock Cottage, Ryeford

Double Lock Cottage is adjacent to Ryeford Double Lock and was built as a lock keeper's cottage.

It was constructed by the canal company in 1784 by local contractor John Davis for the sum of £65.

It has long since been privately owned, and in 1987 it was given a Grade II listing.
