This is adjacent to the land occupied by the former Cricklade Wharf House, now known as Wharf Farm. The road, which the bridge used to carry over the canal, was closed-off when the Cricklade by-pass was built, and it is now a footpath.
The restored canal will follow a new route on the other side of the A419, so this bridge will not need to be replaced.
