Cotswold Canals in Pictures

Pike Lock, Eastington

Pike Lock has been partly restored previously by the Cotswold Canals Trust, and is being fully restored as part of the Phase 1b restoration programme.

Pike Lock is the middle lock in the Eastington flight of five.

The lock has also been known as Turnpike Lock, with the name simply being shortened.

The chamber is lined in brick, with stone capping and stone quoins to the ends and the gate recesses.
