Site of South Cerney Lower Lock

This is the last of a flight of three locks when heading towards Inglesham, which, like Cerney Middle Lock, is infilled.

A solitary coping stone provides evidence as to its location.

It may also be noted, as with the middle lock, that the ground is clearly raised here, with the raised portion being rectangular in shape.
