The track over the former bridge would probably have been in line with the gate.

Also known as Level Bridge. The the canal infilling continues east.

A short section (~300m) of the old canal towpath can be walked from just up the road from here across a field up to the site of Blue House Bridge.

The footpath then leaves the canal route and takes a right turn along an access road which rejoins the Ewen Road.

This photo is likely to be Furzenleaze, or Level Bridge. The canal here, which is now infilled, used to be in a cutting.
