The site of Chesterton Lane Bridge is close to the junction between Bridge Road and Bridge End, which was part of Chesterton Lane before the Cirencester ring road was built.
The route of the former towapth, now a footpath, runs between the Cirencester Baptist Church and an adjacent factory building.
A little beyond this, the footpath crosses the Cirencester ring road via an underpass, close to the original canal route.
