Restoration Plans - Phase 1A

Below are some of the plans for the restoration of various structures on the Phase 1A restoration section of the Cotswold Canals. This information (and much more) is available on the Stroud District Council (SDC) website, and is provided here for ease of access.

Ocean Swing Bridge - Stonehouse

Ebley Mill to Wallbridge

Restoration of a 1.6km section of the Stroudwater Canal from Ebley Mill to Wallbridge, including widening the canal, new lock gates at Dudbridge upper and lower locks, flood gates at Ebley Mill, Overflow weir, confluence weir and fish pass, replacement of Gasworks Bridge and Lodgemore Bridge and removal of Marling school bridge. (Note: Lodgemore Bridge is subject to a re-design and, as a consequence, its construction is delayed.)
