Cotswold Canals in Pictures

Daneway Basin & Wharf

Former basin accessed from the pound between Daneway Bridge Lock and Daneway Basin Lock, the last two locks in the climb from Stroud up to the summit level.

The basin was accessed through a narrow gap spanned by a footbridge, but there was also wharfage along the offside of the canal itself.

The site is now part of a private garden belonging to Wharf Cottage.
